The Woom UP 5 is a technically advanced and thoughtfully designed children's electric bike - just as we've come to expect from the Woom brand.
It has an ultra-lightweight aluminum frame with hydroformed tubes and modern geometry featuring a long wheelbase and a slack head tube angle for maximum stability and control of the bike.
The compact and lightweight Fazua brand motor unit is integrated into the down tube and can be removed as a complete unit (weighing 3.3 kg) with the battery if needed. The motor provides a natural riding feel without any resistance while pedaling.
Comfort and control in the toughest terrain are ensured not only by the frame's modern geometry but also by the excellent Woom Air suspension fork with 80 mm of travel and the ability to adjust the rebound and lock it out from the crown.
The 11-speed Sram NX gear set takes care of shifting, and safety is ensured by Promax Solve ST hydraulic disc brakes with short levers designed for children's fingers.
Woom's own lightweight and stiff wheels are fitted with wide Schwalbe Rocket Ron 24x2.35 tires in the Addix Speed compound.
The bike is intended for children aged 7 - 11 years and a recommended height of 125 - 145 cm. It has a maximum load capacity of 80 kg, and the weight of the electric bike is an impressive 15.8 kg!
The Woom UP 5 is the ideal companion for children who don't want to stay home when their parents go cycling and won't limit adult riders in terms of mileage and terrain profile.
