New Products Nipples

Nipples connect the spokes to the rim. The spoke thread diameter is important for the selection of nipples, the most common being 2 mm. However, there are also larger and smaller diameters. Nipples can be brass, which are heavier and stronger, or aluminium, which are lighter and are particularly suitable for road or XC MTB racing bikes. Both brass and aluminium nipples are offered in many colour options. Sapim Polyax nipples have a specially shaped head which allows the nipple to sit at a proper angle in the rim and prevents the nipples from cracking.
