Kästle
The Kästle brand is an iconic Austrian ski brand with a tradition dating back to 1924, founded by Anton Kästle in Hohenems, Vorarlberg, known for its quality, performance, and technological innovations, and long successful in world competitive skiing (including victories in the World Cup and the Olympic Games).
In 2018–2019, the brand underwent a significant change – the majority share was taken over by the Czech company ConsilSport (owner Tomáš Němec), and a key part of serial ski production was moved to Nové Město na Moravě to the former SPORTEN plant, which today operates as Kästle CZ, with this modern factory becoming one of the main production centers for Kästle skis intended for the global market.
Production in Nové Město thus complements the traditional development, research, and part of the production in Austrian Hohenems, and is involved in the production of alpine and cross-country skis using modern technologies and high automation, thereby strengthening the brand's position among premium ski manufacturers.
