The jacket is water and wind resistant. Thanks to the side vents, it ensures maximum sweat and moisture wicking so you can enjoy the downhill experience undisturbed.
The jacket has reinforced fabric parts with Ripstop treatment, making it more resistant to abrasions and tears. There is an elastic adjustable strap on the forearm, the jacket also has the option of pulling the sleeves over the fingers for maximum protection from the cold and snow.
There are two zipped pockets on the sides and a handy ski pass pocket on the left forearm. The zipper has a practical cord, so the jacket can be easily unzipped and zipped even with gloves on. The hood is individually adjustable.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
