Women's ski pants made of 100% polyester, with 50% recycled material and a removable bib if needed.
The pants have a membrane made of three different materials, providing maximum thermal insulation and breathability.
The DWR water-resistant treatment is free of harmful PFC chemicals. Wind resistance is a given.
The pants are highly durable thanks to the Ripstop treatment and T8 Yarn fabric, which has stretch properties, dries quickly and maintains colors significantly longer. The pants are highly breathable, and they also include zippers on the back for temperature regulation.
There are two pockets on the sides, and the lower part of the legs are reinforced for comfort when wearing ski boots.
Durable Water Repellent (DWR) is a durable coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water repellent (hydrophobic). While the coating is effective, it also wears off and as such is recommended to be renewed/maintained with impregnating agents.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
