Description

GRAPHENwax is a super pliable, non-brittle, quiet wax that does not attract dirt. It offers excellent dirt protection and durability while maintaining impressively low friction for extended periods in both dry and mixed conditions.

GRAPHENwax® does not crumble, chip, or leave marks thanks to its patented composition. It is ideal for all types of bicycles and keeps the drivetrain clean. It is the quietest meltable wax you will ever use.

Chain preparation for first-time use:

If you have a new chain, or a used chain lubed with any oil, place it in a container or polybag with solvent, technical gasoline, or any degreaser for 20-60 minutes. Then shake the polybag with the chain, remove the chain and let it dry completely (10-12 hours - VERY IMPORTANT).

After this period, degrease the chain again, preferably with 8% alcohol, and let it dry completely. This procedure is necessary for the chain only before the first application of wax.

Subsequent application process for GRAPHENwax®:

1) Remove all dirt and grease from the chain as described in Chain preparation for first-time use.

If the chain has already been impregnated with wax, you can easily clean it by pouring boiling water over it and letting it dry. This ensures that when you immerse the chain in the melted wax, you won't contaminate the wax bath.

2) Heat GRAPHENwax® in a container over medium heat; it melts at 70°C but should be heated to a temperature of 90-100°C for optimal performance.

3) Completely submerge the chain in the melted wax and wait until the wax reaches the desired temperature, approximately 10-15 minutes.

4) Stir the chain in the melted wax in all directions for 3-5 minutes so the chain links move and the wax penetrates all the chain's links.

5) Remove the chain, let any excess wax drip off, and then wipe the remaining wax from the sides of the chain links. Allow the chain to cool for about 15 minutes.

6) Once the chain has completely cooled to room temperature, hold the chain in one hand and run it between your fingers with the other hand to loosen the links. Your chain is now ready.

Warning: Be cautious when impregnating the chain with wax, as wax melted at 90-100°C can cause severe burns.
