Ultra-lightweight men's short-sleeved jersey ideal for MTB riding.
Made from a blend of polyester and elastane for maximum breathability and performance.
The looser fit construction with uniquely designed seams is complemented by elastic collar and cuffs and a longer back panel for protection.
Composition: 92% polyester, 8% elastane.
Spandex, Lycra or elastane are synthetic fibers known for their exceptional elasticity. It is stronger and more durable than natural rubber. It is a polyester-polyurethane copolymer that was invented in 1958 by chemist Joseph Shivers at DuPont's Benger Laboratory in Waynesboro, Virginia. The advantage of spandex is its significant strength and elasticity, and the ability to return to its original shape after stretching and to dry faster than ordinary fabrics.
