Description

Beany Blaster XC 26 kids’ bike White is a junior mountain bike designed for cross-country and sporty off-road riding. It sits in the performance category where low weight, functional gearing, and confident braking matter. It’s made for kids 130–150 cm tall who care about speed on gravel, pumptrack riding, and their first races.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from 6061 aluminum alloy with triple-butted tubing for a sensible balance of stiffness and weight. The rigid Beany alloy 6061 fork keeps the handling precise and reduces service needs compared to a suspension option. The geometry is designed for race-oriented XC while still respecting kids’ ergonomics on longer rides. The frame size is 12", with a 1010 mm wheelbase and a 425 mm chainstay length.

The 66° head tube angle stabilizes steering on descents and rough gravel. The 69° seat tube angle supports efficient pedaling on gentle to moderate climbs. The 600 mm standover makes it easier to handle the bike during starts and in technical sections.

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano SL-U4000 CUES shifting is set up as 1x9 with a Shimano RD-U4000 CUES GS rear derailleur. The Shimano CS-LG300-9 11–41T cassette works with the Shimano CN-LG500 Linkglide chain.

Brakes: Braking is handled by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with matching Shimano hydraulic brake levers. Modulation remains consistent even on longer off-road descents.

Wheels and tires: The wheels feature Solely.jr alloy double-wall rims and Solely.jr alloy 28H hubs. Kenda 26 x 2,1 kevlar 120 TPI tires support grip and low rolling resistance on gravel.

Cockpit: Solely jr. alloy handlebars are 640 mm wide and help with control in corners. A Solely jr. alloy 40 mm stem is paired with a Solely.jr alloy 350 mm seatpost and a Beany saddle.

Ride characteristics

The rigid aluminum frame and rigid fork transfer power into forward motion without losses, which you’ll feel when sprinting and on flats. The 2,1" wide tires add mechanical comfort and traction on roots and loose gravel. The 66° head angle keeps things calm on descents while still allowing quick direction changes in tight corners. The 1x9 gearing with an 11–41T range covers climbs on forest roads as well as fast sections on farm tracks.
