Beany Blaster XC 26 kids’ bike Blue is a junior mountain bike for cross-country riding and technical forest trails. It’s aimed at riders 130–150 cm tall who care about low weight and functional components. In terms of equipment, it sits in the sporty class of kids’ MTBs with an emphasis on handling and effective brakes.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from 6061 aluminum alloy with triple-butted tubes, keeping weight low and increasing durability under load. The fork is rigid—an aluminum Beany alloy 6061—so the front end stays precise when holding a line. The geometry is designed for juniors with a sporty riding position and stability off-road. Frame size is 12", wheelbase is 1010 mm, and chainstay length is 425 mm.

A 66° head tube angle supports calmer steering on descents and rough surfaces. A 69° seat tube angle keeps the center of gravity over the bottom bracket when climbing. Standover height is 600 mm and the distance from the saddle to the handlebars is 525 mm. Saddle height range is 660–830 mm.

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano SL-U4000 CUES shifting runs a 1x9 setup with a Shimano RD-U4000 CUES GS rear derailleur. The Shimano CS-LG300-9 cassette has a 11–41-tooth range.

Brakes: Braking is handled by Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brake hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano hydraulic levers. Modulation stays consistent even during longer braking on the trail.

Wheels and tires: The wheels use 26" double-wall Solely.jr alloy rims and Solely.jr alloy 28H hubs. Kenda 26 x 2.1 tires with a kevlar bead and 120 TPI hold their line in dirt as well as on gravel.

Cockpit: Solely jr. alloy handlebars are 640 mm wide and the Solely jr. alloy stem is 40 mm long. The Solely.jr alloy seatpost is 350 mm long and the saddle is Beany.

Ride characteristics

The rigid aluminum fork limits energy losses while pedaling and helps with snappy acceleration. The 66° head angle increases stability in faster sections and over bumps. The 11–41-tooth cassette range makes it easier to pick the right gear on climbs without a front derailleur. The 2.1" tires add mechanical grip and damping on farm roads and forest tracks.

The bike is intended for more experienced kids who ride MTB trails, pumptracks, and fast cross-country circuits. It also makes sense for a first kids’ races, where weight, brakes, and a simple 1x drivetrain matter.
