Description

Beany Zero 29 kids’ bike Black is a junior hardtail designed for off-road and sporty rides on big wheels. It’s built around an aluminum frame and a rigid fork, focusing on low weight and efficient power transfer. In terms of spec, it sits in the mid-range of kids’ MTBs, where functionality and the right junior geometry are key.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from 6061 aluminum alloy with triple-butted tubing. The rigid Beany alloy 6061 fork keeps the weight down and delivers precise steering. The geometry is designed for stability on 29" wheels while still providing a natural riding position for juniors. The bike is available in 17" and 19" sizes for rider heights of 155–185 cm.

The 17" size has a 542 mm top tube and 451 mm chainstays. The head tube angle is 70° and the wheelbase is 1067 mm. The 19" size has a 561 mm top tube and 451 mm chainstays. The head tube angle is 71° and the wheelbase is 1067 mm.

Components

Drivetrain: Microshift ADVENT shifting comes in a 1x9 setup and works with the Microshift ADVENT 9-Speed rear derailleur. The Microshift CS-H092 cassette offers a 11–36T range, and the chainring is 32T.

Brakes: Braking is handled by hydraulic disc brakes with two-finger JAK levers. Power modulation suits off-road riding and longer descents.

Wheels and tires: The wheelset uses Solely jr. alloy rims and YUHUB alloy 32H hubs. Innova 29x1,95" tires are aimed at versatile use on gravel and in lighter terrain.

Cockpit: Solely jr. alloy handlebars are 680 mm wide, and the Solely jr. alloy stem is 50 mm long. A Solely jr. alloy seatpost is paired with a Beany saddle.

Ride characteristics

The combination of triple-butted aluminum and a rigid fork supports quick acceleration and predictable tracking. The 29" wheels improve rollover on bumps and help maintain speed on hardpack. A 1067 mm wheelbase adds stability on descents and at higher speeds. The 1x9 drivetrain with an 11–36T range is tuned for simple operation across changing route profiles.
