Beany Zero 29 kids’ bike Red is a junior mountain bike with a rigid fork and 29" wheels, built for fast rides and light terrain. It sits in the performance category of lightweight aluminum kids’ bikes, with an emphasis on low weight and functional components. It is designed for riders 155–185 cm tall, depending on frame size.
The foundation is a 6061 aluminum-alloy frame with triple-butted tubes and a Beany alloy 6061 rigid fork. The geometry is aimed at stability and easy handling on longer routes. Frame sizes are 17" and 19", with a wheelbase of 1067 mm. Chainstay length is 451 mm for both sizes.
On the 17" size, the head tube angle is 70° and the seat tube angle is 66°. On the 19" size, the head tube angle is 71° and the seat tube angle is 65.5°.
Drivetrain: Microshift ADVENT shifting runs in a 1x9 setup. It uses a Microshift CS-H092 11–36T cassette and a 32T chainring on Prowheel Charm alloy 6061 cranks.
Brakes: The bike uses hydraulic disc brakes. The brake levers are JAK two-finger aluminum.
Wheels and tires: The wheelset is built on Solely jr. alloy rims and YUHUB alloy 32H hubs. Innova tires measure 29x1.95".
Cockpit: Solely jr. alloy handlebars are 680 mm wide, and the Solely jr. alloy stem is 50 mm long. The saddle is Beany, and the seatpost is Solely jr. alloy.
The aluminum frame with butted tubes helps keep weight low while maintaining the stiffness needed under power. The rigid aluminum fork supports precise tracking on asphalt as well as gravel. The 29" wheels increase momentum, so the bike holds speed and rolls over smaller bumps more easily. The 1x9 range with an 11–36T cassette provides usable gearing for climbs as well as brisk riding on the flats.
Beany Zero 29 is intended for more experienced juniors who already know how to use gears and want a fast bike for rides with parents as well as solo routes. It’s well suited to bike paths, hard-packed roads, and lighter terrain without the need for suspension. Within the category of kids’ 29" bikes, it targets riders who mainly care about weight and pedaling efficiency.
