The Campagnolo Super Record is a chain specifically designed for use with the 12x2 speed system.
The chain is connected using a special Campagnolo UT-CN300 rivet tool or a universal rivet tool for all types of chains, the Rohloff Revolver 3, using a special insertion rivet CN-SR600 (included in the package).
Compared to the previous model, the individual links are narrower (5.45 mm vs. 5.15 mm) while maintaining the same durability, i.e., 3000 km to 8000 km.
The individual pins have been modified for quieter chain operation. These pins in the 11x2 system protruded from the individual links by 0.1 mm. In the 12x2 chain, only 0.02 mm (except for the chain connecting pin).
