Cannondale SmartSense technology is an intelligent light system that uses only a single battery. The system ensures active interaction between the rider, the bike and the environment.The intensity of the front and rear lights is automatically adjusted based on light conditions and cues from the road.

The battery located on the lower frame tube serves as the central power source for the front and rear lights. When removed, the battery can also be used as a source for charging via a USB-C cable.
