On cold days, it’s the details that keep your body comfortable and your mind focused on the line or your pace. Castelli Gold Days men’s sleeveless mid layer Black adds warmth exactly where you need it, without unnecessary bulk.
This sleeveless mid layer is designed for layering between a functional base layer and a jacket on winter rides. It keeps your core warmer without restricting shoulder movement.
The Polartec® Alpha® 90 fabric manages moisture and supports breathability, so you won’t overheat on climbs or during a brisk ride. Its soft, stretchy structure feels comfortable even during longer hours in the saddle.
The half zip is positioned slightly off-center to prevent multiple zippers from stacking up at the neck. In practice, that means less pressure under your jacket collar and easier temperature regulation.
It also adds roughly 5 °C of comfort, helping you handle early-morning chill as well as descents after a sweaty climb. It’s suitable for road, gravel, and bikepacking, and works well for commuting too.
The insulation is made from Polartec® Alpha® 90 using recycled PET.
The closure is a half zip with an off-center placement.
The product weight is 128 g in a production size.
The winter temperature range is -4 °C to 10 °C.
Castelli Gold Days is a men’s sleeveless mid layer that insulates the torso while keeping your shoulders free. You’ll appreciate it on rides where effort, wind, and longer descents alternate.
The regular fit stays close to the body, so you can tuck it into your shorts or leave it loose over the waist. The black color pairs well with most winter cycling clothing.
