The latest generation of the Cervélo S5 frame kit builds on the successes of its predecessors, which have defined the shape of modern aerodynamics in the professional peloton. The results from the Tour de France, the Giro, and other WorldTour races prove that the S5 is a true winning machine. For the 2025 model year, Cervélo introduces significant design changes that make this frame platform the fastest version yet—without compromising handling or stability.

Improved Aerodynamics and Speed

The new S5 frame is 6.3 W faster than its predecessor, with the biggest aerodynamic gains coming from the redesigned front end of the bike—significantly deeper fork legs and a more robust head tube. The shape adjustments were made with current UCI regulations in mind, while also maximizing airflow and maintaining bike control at high speeds.

Integrated HB19 V-Stem Cockpit

Included in the frame kit is an all-new integrated carbon cockpit HB19, which develops the original V-Stem concept. This one-piece handlebar with stem uses a “Plus-Four” geometry—where the grip on the top is 4 cm narrower than in the drop (e.g., 38/42 cm)—helping keep an aerodynamic position when using the aero bars and ensuring confidence and stability during descents and sprints.

All available width options comply fully with UCI regulations, including the latest ones. Cables are fully integrated, giving the entire steering a completely clean and streamlined appearance without compromise to serviceability or adjustability.

Lightweight Without Compromise

Even though the frame and fork now have a larger surface area, the resulting frame kit is 124 g lighter than the previous model. This weight reduction was achieved by optimizing carbon layup and making small adjustments to the components used, once again showcasing Cervélo’s engineering prowess.
