Cervélo Soloist Frameset Cloud Burst

Description

The Cervélo Soloist Frameset is a road frameset for building a high-performance race bike with an emphasis on stiffness and efficient power transfer. It targets experienced riders who want to choose their own components and precisely define the final build. In its class, it provides a foundation for a modern disc-brake road bike with internal routing.

Frame and geometry

The frame is carbon and is designed for both road and gravel use, with an emphasis on quick response under power. The front end uses a tapered steerer design for greater steering stiffness. The set includes the Cervélo All-Carbon, Tapered Soloist Fork, which supports precise line holding at high speed. The FSA SL IS2 headset uses 1-1/4 at the top and 1-1/2 at the bottom, matching current road frame standards.

Ride characteristics

The carbon frame emphasizes a solid front end and predictable handling under hard efforts. Combined with the full-carbon fork, it delivers sharper turn-in and stability under braking. The frameset is tuned for road pace, where you’ll appreciate direct power transfer during acceleration. Final comfort and handling depend heavily on your choice of tires, pressures, and cockpit setup.

Who it’s for

This frameset makes sense for riders who want a race-focused road machine and care about build details from wheels to gearing. You can use it for high-intensity training, racing, and fast group rides. Compared to complete bikes, it offers more freedom in component choice and in the target weight of the build.
