Cervélo Soloist Frameset Maldive

Description

The Cervélo Soloist Frameset is a road frameset for building a high-performance race bike with an emphasis on stiffness and efficient power transfer. It’s aimed at experienced riders who are choosing their own components and want to define the final specification precisely. In this class, it serves as a foundation for a modern road bike with disc brakes and internal cable routing.

Frame and geometry

The frame is carbon and is designed for road and gravel use, with an emphasis on quick response under power. The front end uses a tapered steerer design for greater steering stiffness. The set includes the Cervélo All-Carbon, Tapered Soloist Fork, which supports precise tracking at high speed. The FSA SL IS2 headset uses 1-1/4 at the top and 1-1/2 at the bottom, which matches current road frame standards.

Ride characteristics

The carbon frame focuses on a solid front end and predictable handling under hard loads. Combined with the full-carbon fork, you’ll notice sharper turn-in and stability under braking. The frameset is built for road pace, where you’ll appreciate direct power transfer when accelerating. Final comfort and handling depend heavily on your choice of tires, pressures, and cockpit.

Who it’s for

This frameset makes sense for riders who want a race-tuned road machine and care about the build details, from wheels to gearing. You’ll use it for high-intensity training, racing, and fast group rides. Compared to complete bikes, it offers more freedom in component choice as well as in the target build weight.
