Cervélo Soloist - the everyday bike, a name deeply rooted in cycling history and immediately recognizable to all who have followed competitive cycling since the start of the new millennium.
It has always been the choice for top World Tour riders on the CSC and Cervelo Test Team, and now it's back for a new generation of riders. The new Soloist is designed for riders and racers who want a high-performance machine for daily training and racing.
It offers a balance of lightweight and aerodynamic advantages, delivering a bike that is truly "just right." The Soloist is slightly lighter than the S5, yet significantly more aerodynamic than the R5 and uses a threaded BB bottom bracket, like the one on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can handle both mechanical and electronic shifting, training miles in any weather, and has the potential to accelerate at just the right moment. This is the Soloist.

The steering geometry for the Soloist comes directly from the R5. The R5 is popular among professionals and amateurs alike for its stability, precision, and confidence while descending challenging hills. The Soloist benefits from our decades of race bike geometry development and is ready to take off from the start.
AS FAST AS AN S5, AS LIGHT AS AN R5
Soloist positions itself on the performance scale between the S5 and the R5, but with a price tag that's less "World Tour" and more "road trip." It is 250 g heavier than the R5 and 250 g lighter than the S5. It is 190 g slower than the S5, but 126 g faster than the R5. It's the "just right" choice for riders seeking a smart and thoughtful compromise.
Cable routing is internal for better aerodynamics, but does not pass through the stem. We developed our own system that routes the cables under the stem but over the bearing cover. Whether adjusting your position or lending the bike to a friend with a different stem length, you don’t need to bleed the brakes for the swap.
This bike is equipped with the electronic Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset and top-of-the-line Reserve carbon wheels, 49 at the rear and 42 at the front, on Zipp hubs.
The Soloist can accommodate tires up to 34 mm wide (measured), with wheels wide enough to support them.
BBRight-47 bottom bracket, first debuted on the R5-CX, is ideal for those who log many miles without a team mechanic on hand every day. It ensures easy bottom bracket replacement and extends the frame's lifespan.
