The new Continental GrandPrix 5000 is here. The GP5000 tire is made from a 3-ply material with a 330 TPI casing and has been improved with the Black Chilli compound. The Vectran Breaker safety belt hasn’t been left without innovation either—puncture protection has been increased by 20% while the weight has been reduced by 10g. With the new model, the designers managed to reduce rolling resistance by 12% compared to the GrandPrix 4000 S II.
Two new features have also been added: Active Comfort Technology, designed to absorb vibrations, and Lazer Grip, providing better cornering grip.
The tire is available in widths of 23, 25, 28, 32 mm

Hello. I have XLC carbon wheels, inner width 17 mm. Can I use Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires with a width of 28 mm, or do you recommend narrower ones??

Excellent tire, I bought it for the front too
Výborný plášť koupil jsem i na přední
The best tires I've ridden
Nejlepší pláště co jsem jezdil
of course, just my luck, I immediately slightly damaged one new tire on a brick on some nasty gravel, but otherwise as always top
Quality tyre with a long service life
Kvalitní plášť s dlouhou životností
Looks like it holds in wet and dry, buddy hasn’t killed himself yet :D
Yet another set of Continental tires and I can only praise them! Highly recommend!
Great weight, a little wider than the stated 25mm, grip, excellent km longevity.
Výborná váha, malinko širší než udávaných 25mm, přilnavost, výborná km výdrž.
4000 is not anymore so 5000 then, I believe it won’t be worse,
Great tire, fast, light. Excellent build quality - unlike some other brands (in the same price category) they don’t have any "nubs" and stripes like leftover from manufacturing.
