Crankbrothers Stamp Street are platform shoes designed not only for riding but also for casual wear. The MC2 sole provides good grip with a tread shaped like the Crankbrothers Stamp platform pedal. The tread is also directional for secure walking uphill and downhill. The sole not only offers good grip but also durability.
For impact cushioning, Crankbrothers Stamp Street features a padded EVA insert. Comfortable wear is also enhanced by a padded tongue and a rear section design that prevents heel slippage.
EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself.
