Dropper seatposts
Dropper seatposts allow easy and quick changes of saddle height. You can ride at full extension to the top of the hill, and drop the saddle out of the way for the decent for better descending control. The need for these seatposts originated in enduro racing, but over time dropper seatposts have spread to cross country and gravel. Dropper seatposts are controlled by a lever from the handlebars using a cable or hydraulic system with external or internal routing. The Rock Shox Reverb AXS with electronic wireless control is an example of pure perfection.
