The limited edition of the DT Swiss 350 DEG hubs represents a significant advancement in the development of high-end cycling components. These hubs utilize the modern Ratchet DEG system with 72 teeth, based on the proven Ratchet system known from the more expensive DT Swiss models. The DEG (Double Engagement) innovation is characterized by two massive ratchets with a larger diameter that mesh tightly under spring pressure. Compared to the classic Ratchet system or Ratchet EXP, the DEG ratchets are larger, more robust, and have an optimized engagement angle, ensuring immediate and reliable engagement.

Thanks to the use of 72 teeth, the DT Swiss 350 DEG hubs offer a very short engagement angle, which means virtually immediate response with each pedal stroke. This is a crucial advantage especially in technically demanding situations, such as steep climbs, navigating rocky sections, or dynamic accelerations out of corners. The engagement is extremely responsive with minimal crank lag, allowing riders more precise and efficient bike handling.

DT Swiss 350 DEG hubs are designed with a focus on maximum reliability and durability. The new ratchet design provides a greater contact area around the entire circumference, which distributes the load much more evenly compared to standard pawl hubs. The result is increased wear resistance, better power transfer, and long-term functionality even under intense use in challenging conditions.

The hubs are exclusively available as a complete pair (front + rear) in BOOST standard (110x15 mm front and 148x12 mm rear) with flanges for traditional J-bend spokes in a 32-hole variant. You can choose between cassette bodies for SRAM XD or Shimano Microspline. Another practical advantage of these hubs is their easy serviceability: when replacing the bearings, there is no need to remove the threaded ring, so the entire hub can be easily disassembled with just a plastic hammer.

Compared to the premium DT 240 DEG hubs with 90 teeth, the DT 350 DEG are slightly more robust, use larger 6902 bearings, have a less lightened body, and therefore are slightly heavier. However, they offer an excellent balance between price, performance, and reliability, which will be appreciated especially by All Mountain and Enduro riders who prefer technical riding and require absolutely precise and lightning-fast pedal engagement.
