More informationSome parts of this page are translated automatically, so please excuse any imperfections.
DT Swiss Ratchet LN Upgrade Kit allows you to convert a 3-pawl hub to the Ratchet System, which consists of two toothed rings rotating against each other.
The conversion itself is very simple, and through it, you gain the benefits of the Ratchet system such as exceptional reliability and customizable engagement angle.
The reliability of the Ratchet system is achieved because each tooth engages simultaneously. As each side rotates against the other, the force is evenly distributed. In contrast, the pawl system has a much smaller engagement.
The Ratchet System employs a tool-free concept, making its conversion easier.
The kit is offered in versions for Sram XD, Shimano HG, and Shimano Micro Spline hubs.
