DT Swiss XM 431 29" MTB rim black

Description

When the trail starts turning into rocks and roots, you want a rim that holds its line and doesn’t flinch with every hit. DT Swiss XM 431 29 in black is built on a solid aluminum construction and confident tire guidance. The result is a wheel that feels composed even where things are right on the edge.

Main benefits

The asymmetric rim shape helps equalize spoke tension, so the finished wheel feels stiffer and stays true for longer. The wider profile increases impact resistance, and the rim handles tougher treatment out on the trails better. The tire interface is designed for improved side support, which you’ll appreciate in fast corners as well as on gravel. The disc-brake design and tubeless TC tire fitment support modern all-mountain builds.

Technical specifications

Rim diameter 29 inches with ETRTO designation 622-30.

Inner rim width 30 mm and outer rim width 35 mm.

Rim profile height 21 mm and rim weight approximately 0.58 kg.

Valve hole for Presta and a black finish.

Conclusion

DT Swiss XM 431 29 is an MTB rim for riders building durable all-mountain wheels and looking for stable tire support. Thanks to its wide profile and well-thought-out shape, it’s suited to trails where speed, rocks, and hard landings come in quick succession. The black version also blends nicely with most modern wheel builds.
