The fusion of a running vest and a climbing backpack - that's the Elevation 20. Successfully combining lightweight design with a great fit and diverse storage spaces, ensuring you lack nothing during high-altitude activities.
Unlike a classic high-altitude hiking backpack, the Elevation 20 is significantly more compact and ready for running thanks to its optimized fit. This allows you to move faster and more efficiently during ascents, descents, or even on sections that require some climbing.
With its 20-liter capacity, this backpack is ideal for fast-paced travel at altitudes of 3000 - 4000 meters.
Food and drinks, a change of clothes, crampons, and a headlamp - all of these have a place inside.
Thanks to the roll-up closure, you can flexibly adjust the size. Access to the main compartment is also possible via a zipper. An additional zippered compartment and an integrated waterproof pocket offer space for small essentials like a wallet or mobile phone. There's also a quick-access compartment for crampons and slots for your ice axe.
To keep your fluids within reach, the Elevation 20 has a spot for a 500 ml soft flask on the shoulder strap. The other shoulder strap features a zippered pocket and a stretch mesh pocket for snacks or other items like a headband or gloves.
The outer shell of the Elevation 20 is made from ultralight Gridstop fabric. With the integration of extremely strong polyethylene fibers, these backpacks are highly resistant to tearing and cutting, ensuring contact with rocks or other harsh conditions is no issue.
The 3D foam back panel guarantees long-lasting comfort and optimal breathability.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
