Premium RDS-certified goose down ("Responsible Down Standard") has been treated with DOWNTEK® to eliminate the down's sensitivity to moisture.
Normally, when down feathers come into contact with moisture, they lose their loft and thus their ability to insulate. DOWNTEK® water-repellent treatment allows the jacket to maintain its filling volume, prevents moisture penetration, and keeps you warm. Not only that, but the treated down is machine washable and also dries quickly without losing its water-repellent properties.
Durable, highly breathable Primaloft® Gold insulation has been used for the lower sleeves and sides, where the body produces a lot of sweat. It has also been used on the shoulders and hem, where high abrasion resistance is required.
Thanks to its size, this jacket easily fits into any ski backpack.
