This model, proven in many international competitions, features a heel riser and is available with manual locking. The binding excels in durability and robustness, ensuring maximum support in a race against time.
The integrated brake offers a unique dual function—it serves both as a brake and a heel riser, and can be quickly operated with one hand. Athletes can switch between walking and skiing modes in seconds, simultaneously deploying either the brake or riser. Low Tech Race 115+ fully complies with the ISMF regulations in effect since 2021, which require the use of brakes in competitions.
The biggest draw is the extremely low weight of the binding with brake—only 282 g, providing you with a significant advantage over the competition. The binding allows for the mounting of an adjustment plate that offers a heel shift of 20 mm to accommodate different sole lengths. Side and vertical release forces are firmly set to values that ensure the optimal balance between safety and performance based on the experience of elite ski mountaineers.
For better traction on ice or hardened snow, crampons can be easily and quickly attached to the binding. Like all DYNAFIT bindings, Low Tech Race 115+ was developed and manufactured in Germany and is covered by DYNAFIT's lifetime warranty.
