Change of clothes, shovel, probe, food and snacks - you have to take some gear on a ski tour. And everything needs to be stored in a way that doesn't restrict your movement, so you can access what you need immediately.
The Radical 30+ backpack with PFC-free, water-resistant outer materials is a comfortable and smart companion for any ski tour.
The spacious main compartment is accessible from the top via a roll-up opening and from the back. This means you have everything quickly to hand during your tour. The rolling closure helps you to flexibly expand the volume of the pack, for example if you need more storage space for a night in the hut.
In addition, the Radical 30+ backpack has a separate safety compartment that guarantees lightning-fast access to emergency equipment when every second counts in an emergency. A generous accessory pocket with key fob and separate fleece-lined compartment offers space for ski goggles, valuables and other small essentials. Use the DYNAFIT ski hooks, diagonally on the back of the pack, or on the sides with the compression straps.
Despite its comprehensive features, its comfort has not changed: The pre-shaped back system adapts to the natural shape of the spine. This allows for optimal load distribution between the two-piece waist belt and the ergonomic shoulder straps. The backpack sits securely and stably while remaining comfortable. Nothing shakes or slips, and you can handle turns with precision, even in challenging backcountry terrain.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
