The jacket is filled with premium RDS certified goose down 800 cuin with a 95/5 down-to-feather ratio. The down provides excellent insulation at very low weight and volume. The only weakness of down is its sensitivity to moisture, which causes it to lose its loft and insulating ability. That's why the down in the Tigard jacket is treated with water-repellent DOWNTEK® technology, allowing the down to retain its loft and volume even when exposed to moisture, keeping you warm.
Additionally, the down dries faster and the jacket can be machine washed without any loss of quality. For additional protection against the elements, the jacket has a lightweight nylon outer layer.
Stretch side panels under the arms provide better breathability and temperature regulation. Stretch edges and cuffs keep the jacket in place, preventing cold air from entering or heat from escaping. Due to its compact size, this down jacket fits into any backpack.
The jacket features plenty of pockets for storing energy gels and bars. Thanks to its athletic fit, the jacket is suitable not only for ski tours but also for climbing or everyday wear.
DownTek a type of specially treated down that is extremely water resistant. This durability will ensure that you stay warm, comfortable and dry.
