The Dynafit TLT helmet with triple certification is suitable for ski touring, cycling, and mountaineering. The helmet is safe, durable, lightweight, and compatible with the new minimalist Dynafit ski goggles system.
TLT features a flat minimalist design, reduced padding, and excellently designed ventilation with generous openings for great comfort and breathability during demanding ascents.
Thanks to its construction using an EPS inner lining and "in-mold" polycarbonate shell, the TLT helmet, weighing only 300 grams, offers an extraordinary balance between minimal weight and maximum protection. It can be adjusted to suit you and your needs with a small dial at the back.
Additional adjustments on the head and chin straps ensure a precise fit and thus maximum safety. An adjustable and removable visor serves not only to protect against glare but also to prevent the ski goggles from inadvertently sliding back onto the helmet.
For a perfectly matched and exceptionally lightweight system, the TLT helmet can ideally be combined with the new Dynafit Goggles TLT and Speed. The goggle holder can be replaced in seconds and, the specialized TLT strap can be clipped directly onto the helmet for perfect attachment and extra comfort.
This stylish, low-profile helmet meets certification standards not only for skiing but also for mountaineering and cycling, making it ideally suited for modern multisport adventures and demanding speed tours. With its lightweight but extremely robust construction and well-designed ventilation, it is the first choice for demanding athletes who set no limits on mountain challenges but still prefer a fast and safe adventure.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
