During the development of the Ultra 100 midsole, the clear focus was on essential cushioning. Combined with the POMOCA outsole, runners achieve excellent cushioning and outstanding traction on all surfaces and conditions.
With the Invisible Lacing system, the stretch lace cover provides enhanced protection against dirt and pebbles, which can get into shoes on the trail.
The GORE-TEX membrane ensures that your feet stay dry during long days in the mountains with changing and challenging conditions.
Gore-Tex is a registered brand with a history dating back to 1958, often associated with waterproof fabrics. The Gore-Tex material consists of a narrow porous membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), which is laminated between other textiles, most often nylon or polyester. You can most often come across the term "Gore-Tex membrane".
Vibram is a manufacturer and brand of the most widely used rubber compound for the production of soles of various types of footwear, founded in 1937. To maintain the high standards of Vibram, each and every sole model undergoes a series of rigorous tests. The basic characteristics of Vibram soles are their abrasion resistance and grip, which are functional in a wide variety of climatic conditions. It also features long life, resists cracking and retains its properties on wet and dry surfaces.
Ever Dry 3.0 represents the biggest step forward with respect to the environment: it is the first climbing skin treatment on the market that contains no perfluorocarbon, a chemical that is harmful to the environment. Since 2020, Ever Dry 3.0 has been used to treat all Pomoca skins, making it the first PFC-free skin brand!
OrthoLite® shoe insoles. These are high quality and above all comfortable insoles combining two types of support material. The front part is made up of special OrthoLite® foam, which is breathable, has good "cushioning" capabilities (keeps the foot in place without the risk of unwanted movement in the shoe). It has the advantage of antibacterial properties that prevent microorganisms from attacking the stressed foot and preventing odour. The back part under the heel is made of strong EVA foam, which effectively cushions the foot and prevents blisters.
