For mountain sports, eyes need special protection against harmful UV radiation, snow, dirt, and wind. Polycarbonate lenses reliably protect against UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation. Thanks to the wide field of vision, you can keep everything in sight, and you remain safe on the road even at high speeds.
The Climacool AirVent ventilation system ensures continuous air circulation, preventing the lenses from fogging up.
The Grilamid TR90 material is lightweight, flexible, and thus the glasses are more resistant to damage. Adhesive temple tips and a silicone nose pad ensure a secure fit without slipping, even during intense movement.
Grilamid TR 90 is a very lightweight, flexible and durable polyamide, which is superior to classic polycarbonate. It is a transparent polyamide made from a mixture of different artificial resins. It is characterized by a very low weight, high elasticity and strength, which are propertie many materials do not have. TR90 is more durable than polycarbonate, and also has shape memory (after bending it returns to its original shape). It can be found in better quality and more expensive sports eyewear. Recently, it has also become more popular in casual eyewear.
