Early Rider Belter 16 Auto kids’ bike Brushed Alu 2025 is a children’s bike with a belt drive designed for riding on cycle paths and hard-packed roads. It belongs to the lightweight premium class, where low weight and easy maintenance are key. The concept is aimed at parents who care about a clean drivetrain and easy handling at low speeds.
The frame is made from hand-brushed AL6061 alloy and uses forged dropouts. The front fork is also AL6061 and matches the frame with the same dropout technology. Brakes: TEKTRO 837AL brakes are rim V-brakes with 102 mm arms. TEKTRO Short Reach JL350 brake levers have a reduced reach for children’s hands.
Wheels and tires: The built wheels are 16" with double-walled AL6061 rims with 20 holes. Schwalbe Billy Bonkers 16x2.0 tires with 60 TPI provide grip on gravel as well as asphalt.
Cockpit: The handlebars are AL6061, 500 mm wide with 25 mm rise, with a 19 mm grip section. The Ritchey OS stem has a 35 mm reach, and the AL6061 seatpost measures 25.4 mm x 195 mm.
The 5.8 kg weight reduces the effort needed to get moving and makes handling easier at low speeds. The belt drive runs quietly and without lubrication, which helps in everyday use. Wider 16x2.0 tires add stability and smooth out small bumps. V-brakes with short-reach levers modulate braking power with less finger effort.
The bike is designed for children moving up to a pedal bike and riding with you on short to medium routes. It’s well suited to cycle paths, park trails, and hard-packed gravel, where you’ll appreciate the tires’ traction. Compared to typical kids’ bikes with a chain, it targets cleaner operation and lower service requirements.
