Effetto Mariposa Végétalex 1000 ml plant-based sealant, which is extremely durable and compatible with CO2 cartridges.

The sealant is biodegradable and completely plastic-free. Thanks to its unique properties, it is not only environmentally friendly but also highly effective. The development took two years, during which the company honed the technology to the highest level.

Végétalex contains only plant-based particles and fibers—finely ground olive pits and cellulose fibers—to provide perfect sealing in the event of punctures. This mixture is held together by xanthan gum, made from simple sugars, quickly and permanently fixing punctures from small tire porosities to larger punctures up to 5 mm.

Longevity was a priority for the "Végétalex" project and thanks to a sophisticated blend of various shapes and sizes of natural particles with xanthan gum, it has a long "active" lifespan inside tires. For most tires, puncture repairs last for more than 6 months. This also makes it suitable for inner tube applications. The sealant has been fine-tuned to achieve high mobility, meaning a small amount is sufficient to quickly fill the internal space of the tire.

It is recommended, for example, for a tubeless tire 29 × 2.10 (54-622) 84 ml (approx. 3 oz.) of Végétalex. Compatible with CO2 cartridges.

This plant-based sealant contains no ammonia or other aggressive chemicals, is non-toxic, and non-corrosive. It does not contain micro or macro plastics, no rubber particles, or any aramid fibers that would remain in the environment for a very long time.

All ingredients in Végétalex are highly biodegradable. It does not trigger allergic reactions in people allergic to products made from natural rubber latex. May contain traces of nuts.

The sealant contains no pigments or fast-hardening polymers, making it very easy to remove. Even when dry, Végétalex can be cleaned with soapy water and a brush.

Usage: -20 / +50 °C (-4 / +122 °F)
Storage: -15 / +30 °C (+5 / +86 °F)

Végétalex lasts 2 years after first opening provided that the package is properly closed, stored away from direct sunlight, and the storage temperature is within the range specified above.

Before use, it is important to shake the Végétalex bottle well.
