Description

FFWD DRIFT are the first in a new line of wheels specifically designed for gravel and off-road riding. The development focused on slightly different parameters than those of similar road wheels. Weight here must go hand in hand with stiffness and especially the durability of the rim and spokes. The rims have been specially developed to accommodate wide tires and withstand not only impacts from them but also stones rolling over the rim. Carbon is woven differently in these rims, making them much more durable. The strongest aero spokes from DT Swiss were chosen for the spoke assembly, specifically the Aerocomp model. The use of brass nipples is standard, which significantly increases the lifespan of the spoke assembly in off-road applications (aluminum nipples soon wear out and corrode quickly).

Everything is laced onto DT Swiss 240 hubs with the new patented EXP ratchet system in a 2:1 spoke ratio. Together, these components create wheels you can rely on in the terrain and which will propel you forward with their properties.
