Description

The new FFWD RAW CS wheels represent the pinnacle of Fast Forward's development and offerings.

The RAW CS wheels were inspired by the RYOT model and also use the same LAW technology - Laminar Airflow Wing, which optimizes aerodynamics and stiffness, especially when using wider tires. The wheels are primarily designed for road cycling, optimized for efficient power transfer and reduced air resistance.

The RAW CS series rims have been modified using LAW TECH technology, with a height of 55 mm, an internal width of 21 mm, and an external width of 30 mm. The rims are sized for tires ranging from 23 mm to 42 mm.

Hubs manufactured by FFWD rotate on Ceramic Speed industrial bearings and, along with the rims, are laced front and rear with 21 (in a 2:1 ratio) extra-light and stiff carbon spokes, which were also developed in collaboration with Ceramic Speed. The brake disc attachment uses the Centerlock standard.

Ceramic Speed produces bearings with a larger diameter, which increases durability and longevity. The hub has a special flange for carbon wires, a lightweight freehub body, and the quality of the hub is on par with the Swiss DT Swiss with their star ratchet system.

The spokes are made of the highest quality carbon wires with a tensile strength of at least 2000N. The spokes are secured using two-component nipples, which allow easy replacement and servicing. The number of spokes has been intentionally reduced to 21 for better lacing properties and effective vibration damping while maintaining stiffness.

The pair weighs 1460 g, with a maximum rider weight of 120 kg and a maximum tire pressure of 8.3 bar. The package includes wheels, tubeless valves and tape, and a wheel bag.

You can choose from a classic Shimano HG11 splined freehub, a splined ED freehub for Campagnolo cassettes, and also an XDR freehub for SRAM road cassettes.
