The Fischer company is a globally recognized traditional manufacturer of quality sports equipment. The traditional Austrian company Fischer has always been among the brands that set the trends in skiing development. As the only major ski company, it is still owned by the family of the founder, Josef Fischer. Since the mid-sixties, when Fischer opened a new ski manufacturing plant in Ried, Austria, then the largest in the world, it has been one of the most significant global producers. The production and development of Fischer cross-country skis, which today hold a completely dominant position in the global market, dates back to the early seventies.
