The upper ripstop fabric withstands demanding off-road conditions and protects your feet during aggressive descents. In addition to these durable fabrics, the Gravity race shoe is equipped with the essential protection required for fast riding: an injected TPU armored toe box protects against rocks and debris, a raised inner ankle profile, and robust laminated abrasion protection in high-wear areas.
Thanks to the extended cleat track, the clip version allows you to slide the shoes further back, improving stability and control during descents, just as you would riding flat pedals.
The Gravita outsole provides the type of interface between the shoe and pedal needed for fast and aggressive riding, combining the stickiest Vibram XS Trek Evo rubber compound with a specific lug pattern.
An ergonomic lacing pattern has been developed for the Tensor, which wraps around the foot and evenly distributes tension during pedaling. The powerstrap over the instep ensures a secure fit, stabilizes the arch, and locks the heel in place while keeping the laces under control.
