The Focus IZALCO MAX 9.7 road bike Soothbrush is a race-focused road machine built for fast riding on tarmac and use at high speeds. It targets experienced riders who care about aerodynamics, stiffness, and the precision of electronic shifting in a performance class that’s also suited to racing. The build combines a carbon frame with an integrated cockpit and higher-profile wheelset.
The frame is made from a carbon composite with MAX aero carbon technology and is ready for disc brakes. At the rear it uses a 142 × 12 mm thru-axle and flat mount caliper mounts. The ACROS IS 52/IS52 headset is integrated into the FOCUS C.I.S. system with internal cable routing. The geometry is race-oriented and is based on short 410 mm chainstays across sizes. Sizes XXS to XXL cover a reach of 370–420 mm and a stack of 500–611 mm.
Drivetrain: Shimano Ultegra Di2 shifting comes in a 2×12 configuration. It uses an FD-R8150 front derailleur, an 11–34T cassette, and a Pressfit Road BB86 bottom bracket.
Brakes: Shimano Ultegra BR-R8170 hydraulic disc brakes use RT-CL800 rotors. Rotor diameter is 160 mm front and rear.

Thanks to 29-622 tires and a 30 mm tire width limit, it also works on rougher asphalt and cobbles without straying from its road focus. Compared to endurance road bikes, it prioritizes aerodynamics and stiffness over a more upright riding position.
