Description

Focus Jarifa2 6.7 600 Wh Dreamviolet/Diamondblack is a hardtail e-mountain bike for trail rides, hardpacked roads, and lighter singletrack. It sits in the mid-range category with an emphasis on functional equipment and compatibility with the Bosch Smart System. It is built around an aluminum frame, a 75 Nm motor, and a 600 Wh battery.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from 7005 aluminum alloy with hydroforming technology and a 148×12 mm thru-axle. The rear end uses a Post Mount mount for a 180 mm disc. The geometry blends stability with handling thanks to a 66–67° head angle and a 73–74° seat angle. Sizes range from XS to XL, with XS riding on 27.5" wheels and the others on 29".

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano Cues shifting comes in a 1×9 configuration. The Shimano CS-LG400 cassette has an 11–46-tooth range, and up front there is a 36-tooth chainring.

Brakes: Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes are four-piston. Shimano EM600 rotors measure 203 mm front and rear.

Wheels and tires: Mach1 Trucky32 rims are aluminum, paired with Shimano HB-TC500 and FH-TC500 hubs. Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance Line tires are 2.6" on 27.5" or 29" wheels.

Cockpit: JD Riser handlebars are aluminum and 760 mm wide. The FOCUS C.I.S. 2.0 stem is 50 mm long, and the Post Moderne DP-212 seatpost is a dropper.

Ride characteristics

The Bosch Performance Line motor with 75 Nm of torque supports a smooth pace on long climbs and when getting going off-road. The SR Suntour XCM 34 coil fork with 120 mm of travel is aimed at soaking up small to medium bumps. The combination of 29" wheels and 2.6" tires increases traction and forgiveness on rough surfaces. The four-piston brakes and 203 mm rotors maintain braking performance even on longer descents.

Who it’s for

The Jarifa2 6.7 is designed for more experienced riders who want an e-bike for forest roads, gravel, and light trails without the need for full suspension. Thanks to the dropper post and wide tires, it also suits a more aggressive riding style on trail sections. The approved system weight is up to 150 kg, which broadens its usefulness for carrying gear and towing a trailer.
