The 360° Fit System with a dial wraps around your head all the way around. You can fine-tune the fit quickly, even with gloves on.
Optimized ventilation with channels in the EPS liner draws heat away on long climbs. The helmet stays breathable even in slower sections.
The one-hand adjustable visor works with both sunglasses and MX goggles. The goggle storage keeps the lenses secure when you’re riding without them.

Fox Speedframe 5050 is a trail and enduro helmet for mountainbiking that combines protection, comfort, and practical details for everyday riding. Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
