Galfer brake pads specifically designed for Sram Maven series brakes, identified as FD575, are available in four compounds.
Galfer designates the types of compounds by color - choose the compound based on color:
PERFORMANCE G1053 (formerly "Standard" - black): suitable for general conditions. They have a harder compound, which results in the longest lifespan. Their braking power is reliable in all conditions.
ADVANCED G1851 (Wet conditions - red): excel in extreme conditions, have a "softer" compound, and wear out more quickly.
PRO G1554T (Racing - green): require no "bedding in". They are immediately effective and have great modulation sensitivity, can withstand higher thermal stress, and perform excellently even in wet conditions.
E-BIKES G1652 (E-bikes and DH - purple): developed for higher thermal stress, appreciated especially by DH racers and e-bike riders, but not limited to them.
