When the trail turns steep and speed builds, confidence on the brakes keeps your head clear. The Galfer Shark CL brake rotor 223 mm, thickness 2 mm delivers a clear, consistent braking feel even on long descents.
The Shark shape helps dissipate heat, so braking performance stays stable even under heavy load. You’ll appreciate this most on long descents and on a heavier bike.
A lower operating temperature helps reduce material fatigue and contributes to a longer lifespan for both the rotor and the pads. The brakes then feel more consistent and predictable.
Its self-cleaning ability makes riding in mud and wet conditions easier, where dirt commonly clings to the rotor. Braking remains sharp and responds quickly.
The anti-corrosion treatment protects the surface during year-round use and frequent washing. The rotor retains both function and appearance under demanding use.
The rotor’s technical designation is Galfer Shark CL.
The rotor diameter is 223 mm.
The rotor thickness is 2 mm.
The rotor weighs 0.264 kg and uses CenterLock mounting.
Galfer Shark CL is a robust brake rotor for MTB and e-MTB, where heat management, stability, and clear modulation matter. With a 223 mm diameter, it’s aimed at riders who really put their brakes to work.
It’s well suited to downhill use and long alpine sections, where differences in cooling show the most. Made in Spain, it underscores the focus on precise workmanship.
Keep in mind that the rotor is not suitable for MAGURA MT5 and MAGURA MT7 brakes. It’s also incompatible with the Fulcrum AFS system.
