Giant Defy Advanced E+ Elite AR is an endurance road e-bike with extra capability for rougher asphalt and hardpacked roads. It’s built around a rear hub motor and a 400 Wh battery to provide assistance on long climbs and sustained efforts. Compared to pure road e-bikes with narrow tires, it offers more comfort and a broader operating range.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
A D-shaped fork steerer passes through the head tube of the new Propel and Defy ranges. Together with corresponding spacers, they form an extremely aerodynamic and easy-to-service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.
