Description

The Giant EnergyPak Smart 625Wh battery is a powerful energy source for Giant e-bikes, designed for integration directly into the bike frame.

With a capacity of 625 Wh, it offers a long range and the option to expand with an additional EnergyPak Plus battery for an extra 250 Wh.

Thanks to its intelligent Battery Management System (BMS), the battery efficiently communicates with the charger, optimizing the charging process and extending cell life.

The battery's dimensions are 435 × 77.5 × 67 mm and it is compatible with fast chargers up to 6 A.

Charging to 80% capacity takes approximately 2.5 hours.

The battery comes with connector protection and four screws for mounting, which is crucial especially for older frames without the new type of mounting.

Benefits of Battery BMS

Batteries separate Li-Ion cells from the electronics. Often these 2 parts are separated by a resin partition so that a possible short circuit of the electronics does not cause ignition of the cells. Prices of high-quality batteries cost up to 25.000 CZK, which is about 10.000 CZK higher than the price of a battery in electric bikes with a selling price of about 50.000 CZK.
BMS - Battery Management System - is a system that monitors the voltage and temperature of individual cells. This helps to extend the life of the battery and protect it from undercharging and overcharging.
