There's no need to select a specific driving mode, you can fully rely on the automatic mode and drive in exactly the same way you're used to, but with more power. The result is an extremely comfortable, quiet and natural driving experience.

SyncDrive Core is Giant's entry-level line of electric bike motors. It's the ideal option for urban or trekking e-bikes that you ride on moderately profiled terrain. Smart Assist technology includes six sensors including incline and acceleration/deceleration detection (called accelerometer). These sensors allow the motor to produce power based on rider input and the type of terrain the rider is currently navigating.
