ALUXX Aluminum Frame
The Roam model is built on a modern, lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with internal cable routing. Its geometry is designed to make the bike highly maneuverable and the ride very comfortable. We manufacture the ALUXX frames ourselves in our own factory, so we have full control to ensure that each frame leaving the production line meets high standards for quality.
High Comfort
The ride over rough surfaces and bumps is greatly enhanced by a suspension fork with a 50 mm travel. Your comfort is further increased by the D-Fuse seat post, which dampens vibrations better than a traditional round seat post, thanks to its specific "D" shape that allows slight "flexing" of the seat post under load.
Quality Equipment and Preparedness for Longer Trips
The high braking power and smooth modulation of braking force are ensured by hydraulic disc brakes. Confidence on rougher trails will come from the Giant CrossCut tires in a wider size of 700x42c with increased puncture protection. Fans of longer trips will surely appreciate the ability to mount a rear rack on the bike.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
