The Talon E+ electric bike for kids/juniors is equipped with a motor located in the rear wheel and offers a battery with 250 Wh of electric power.
The bike features a lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame designed to best fit a child's physique, making the bike comfortable, easy to handle, and fun. To handle rough terrain, it is equipped with a suspension fork with 80 mm travel and hydraulic disc brakes for high braking power. The bike also has wider tires for comfort and safe off-road riding. Additionally, it is equipped with a practical kickstand firmly attached to the frame with an integrated mount.
The SyncDrive Move motor is located in the rear wheel and provides smooth, natural pedal assistance. For kids, it offers an optimal torque of 30 Nm. This motor features Smart Assist technology, which uses five sensors to precisely determine the most suitable level of support depending on the situation. For the lightweight and compact 250 Wh EnergyPak battery, space is reserved on the upper side of the down tube, and it can be removed sideways. For quick battery charging, the EnergyPak Smart Charger with 4 A current is used.
Via the RideControl Dash color display, the electric drive can be controlled to select the desired power or the fully automatic Smart Assist mode. When you start to pedal, the sensors activate and transmit information to the control unit. This control unit, referred to as the "brain" of the system, immediately sends a request for the corresponding amount of energy to the EnergyPak battery. Then the energy is transferred to the SyncDrive motor, which immediately and smoothly begins to assist with pedaling.
