Giant Tempt 29 3 mountain bike Golden Wheat is a hardtail mountain bike for mountain biking on forest roads, trails, and in trail centers. It falls into the affordable performance category, where functional equipment and balanced geometry are what matter. The 29" wheel setup is aimed at riders who prioritize terrain rollover and stability at higher speeds.
The frame is made from ALUXX-grade aluminum alloy and is ready for disc brakes. The trail geometry is designed for 29" wheels in size M and is built around stability in a straight line. A tapered head tube for a tapered fork steerer increases steering precision in rough terrain. It also features internal cable routing and an integrated chainstay protector.
Drivetrain: Shimano Altus shifting comes in a 2x8 configuration, complemented by a Shimano Acera RD M3020-8 rear derailleur. The Shimano Altus FD-M315-TS front derailleur works with Shimano Acera 22/36 cranks and a Shimano Altus 11–34 cassette. The bottom bracket is cartridge.
Brakes: Tektro HDC TKD 149 hydraulic disc brakes use a 180 mm rotor up front and a 160 mm rotor at the rear. The Tektro TKD 149 brake levers have ergonomics suited to smaller hands.

Tempt 29 3 is intended for riders who want a hardtail MTB with modern standards and straightforward service. The 2x8 setup provides a wide gear range for climbs as well as faster transfers. Compared to hardtails with quick releases, it offers more precise tracking thanks to the rear thru-axle and tapered head tube.
