The Agilis helmet combines a lightweight, airy look of classic racing models with extended protection in the nape area. This makes it an ideal choice not only for road cycling but also for riding in lighter terrain.
Maximum stability and precise fit on the head is ensured by the Roc Loc 5.5 retention system, which allows for easy and quick adjustment according to individual needs. Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact.
